Are the hand address envelopes really addressed by hand? Yes, we have a team of writers who hand address each envelope.

Does hand addressing each envelope make a difference in the response rate? Yes! Since we hand address each envelope people are not expecting the envelope to contain an advertisement, so they are more likely to open the envelope.

What is a variable font letter? We created a software program that adds variability to characters before they are printed. We loaded handwriting the handwriting of one of our letter writers into the software program that adds variability to the characters, so the first letter ‘t’ looks different from the second letter ‘t’, and so on throughout the letter. It makes the entire letter appear to be handwritten, and because we have a software program that does this we can print the letters using a mail merge, which is how we can offer them in a hand addressed envelope for 99¢ each.

Can you provide mailing lists? Yes, have mailing lists available for businesses and individuals with a variety of filters to help target your audience, and if you get the list from us we will give you a copy of it when we mail out your letters. A targeted list can dramatically improve the response rate, and we can filter the list by state, county, city or zip code.

Can I mail to my own list? Yes, we can send letters to your mailing list. Just be sure to filter your list so you have a targeted group of people who are likely to want to do business with you.

Can I customize the message on the letter? Absolutely! You can choose from any of our templates or you can create your own custom letter to say whatever you want. We will get the information for your letter and then work together to format the letter to look exactly how you want it to look.

Can you ship the completed letters to me? Yes, we can prepare your letters and put First Class stamps on them, then ship the completed letters to you so you can mail them yourself.

Can I see a copy of the letter before it gets mailed? Yes, we will create your letter or postcard, then scan it and email it to you so you can approve it before we mail out your campaign.

What is the turnaround time? We can have your campaign going out in less than one week. If we receive your approval of your letter by the end of the day on Tuesday we can have your letters going out on Friday. If we receive your approval by noon CST on Thursday we can have your campaign mailing out on Monday.

How many letters should I send out? Most people start with 500 to 1,000 letters. While more letters can generate more phone calls, you do not need to send out 10,000 mail pieces to see a response. With a targeted mailing list and hand addressed mail piece, our personalized mailers can generate more calls with a smaller mailing list than a typical business mailer, and it’s better to start small and build up than to start large and be overwhelmed with phone calls.

What is the difference between Standard and First Class mail? Standard mail is a classification of bulk mail, so it is less expensive than First Class mail. It is still a sticky stamp that we affix to the envelope, but it does not get postmarked. That means we mail the letters out for you and the people receiving the letter will think it was mailed from the return address on the envelope (which is your address). First Class mail is more expensive and does get postmarked, so people will see where it was mailed. The post office guidelines for delivery on First Class mail is 1 to 5 business days and on Standard mail the guidelines are 3 to 30 days. In our experience Standard mail usually takes less than one week to land, but there are times when it can take up to 30 days.
